Package: debootstrap Version: 1.0.30 Severity: normal
When I try to debootstrap a Woody chroot the following error occurs: # mkdir ~/woody_chroot # debootstrap woody ~/woody_chroot http://archive.debian.org/debian I: Retrieving Release E: Invalid Release file, no entry for main/binary-i386/Packages If I use sarge instead of woody it works without problems. As a workaround, downgrading to version 1.0.26+squeeze1 enables to debootstrap a woody system. --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 Debian Release: wheezy/sid --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ======================-+-=========== wget | 1.12-3.1 Recommends (Version) | Installed =====================================-+-=========== gnupg | 1.4.11-3 debian-archive-keyring | 2010.08.28 Package's Suggests field is empty. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
