Package: gnote
Version: 0.4.0-2

Although gnote provides similar functionality to tomboy, it is not a
drop-in replacement in the strong sense of a Debian “Provides”. It uses a
different executable name, a different D-Bus interface, and (after the
initial import) a separate data store.

For example, Ubuntu has an awn-applet-tomboy-applet package that Depends:
tomboy so it can use the org.gnome.Tomboy.RemoteControl D-Bus interface,
but if gnote is installed instead of tomboy, it breaks because gnote has
an org.gnome.Gnote.RemoteControl interface instead.

So I’m pretty sure this Provides header is just wrong and should be
removed.
