Package: apt-get Version: 0.8.14.1 Severity: minor Tags: l10n patch --- Please enter the report below this line. --- Reproduce: 1.) Type "apt-mark --help" on the shell to verify that "apt-mark" considers itself deprecated and suggests using "apt-get markauto / unmarkauto" instead. 2.) Type "apt-get (un)markauto <somepackage>" to see that "apt-get" now knows these commands... 3.) Type "man apt-get" to find that these options are not described in that man page (at least in my German version...)
Resolution: Take text describing "markauto" and "unmarkauto" from "apt-mark" man page and insert it into "apt-get" man page. Caution: The "showauto" command is not transferred to "apt-get"! --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-6.slh.2-aptosid-686 Debian Release: wheezy/sid 500 unstable www.debian-multimedia.org 500 unstable cdn.debian.net 500 unstable aptosid.com --- Package information. --- Package's Depends field is empty.
