Reproduce: 
1.) Type "apt-mark --help" on the shell to verify that "apt-mark" 
considers itself deprecated and suggests using "apt-get  markauto / 
unmarkauto" instead. 
2.) Type "apt-get (un)markauto <somepackage>" to see that "apt-get" now 
knows these commands...
3.) Type "man apt-get" to find that these options are not described in 
that man page (at least in my German version...)

Resolution: 
Take text describing "markauto" and "unmarkauto" from "apt-mark" man 
page and insert it into "apt-get" man page. 
Caution: The "showauto" command is not transferred to "apt-get"!
