Experiencing the same problem. I have the same integrated gpu, but rev 3. 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82845G/GL[Brookdale-G]/GE Chipset Integrated Graphics Device (rev 03)
I currently have gdm3 version 2.30.5-6squeeze1. Anyone found a fix for this other than switching display managers?
