Hello, for all readers chiming in now: Wine-doc embedds a (forked?) copy of po4a. This fork includes the man page translations as well, but the package ships only generated docs (no man pages).
From the i18n perspective, this fork creates extra work for translators who are not carefull, i.e. who simply read[1] and update the translations mentioned there. Since the forked tools are not shipped (and neither their man pages) could you at least remove the translations and their framwork from the package to prevent useless work? Better still would be, as always, to simply use po4a directly, of course. Greetings Helge [1] http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po4a/de for German, similarly for other languages. I noticed because I wanted to talk to previous translators for completion and wondered why a package about wine had no string there actually mentioning wine. -- Dr. Helge Kreutzmann deb...@helgefjell.de Dipl.-Phys. http://www.helgefjell.de/debian.php 64bit GNU powered gpg signed mail preferred Help keep free software "libre": http://www.ffii.de/
