This bug report about long login delays from Vista SP2 workstations on a samba 3.3.4 domain is quite old (about 2 years). As the bug report mentions, support for Vista domain logons was quite new at that time and the problem is very likely to have vanished since then. In case you're still in position to confirm this, do you still experience such long delays in logins? --
