Even, as one cas read, on the bug submitter's system. So, I don't think this problem is related to samba. For whatever reason the interface is not ready after the networking init script is run...and may become ready after. I suspect some problem completely unrelated to samba elsewhere. Do you still experience that problem? If not, we might very well close the bug report. --
