I know most of the GNOME 3 packages are still in experimental and are not ready for daily use. I just want to report a bug of gedit to see if it is a known problem as I did not find it in upstream bug database. Specifically, the 3.0.0 version of gedit appears to be incapable of doing spellcheck. In the Preferences->Plugins tab page, turning on/off of spellcheck plugin makes no difference to the behavior and its preferences button is inactive all the time. Moreover, it seems that other plugins shipped do not work as well. Thanks.
