the version of ampache I added is the one listed by dpkg -l ampache. debug_level in /etc/ampache/ampache.cfg.php is set to 2. I still removed the logs because there was no space left on the hardisk. But as I remember it was a PHP-errormessage telling that the value given to readdir was a boolean and not a resource. I just noticed that in my patch above the role of the original and the revised version is inverted. Hope this helps.
