Package: emacs
Version: 23.2+1-7

The following file is a valid latex file

\documentclass{article}
\begin{document}
\section{AB}\label{A_Brokken}
In Section \ref{A_Brokken} we are considering...
\end{document}

But the default spell checker (Menu Tools -> Spell Checking -> Spell-Check Buffer) of emacs complains on "Brokken" which is not a part of the latex output (at least, not by default), but a part of the internal document structure.

We expect that the spell checker does not complain on Brokken.

I am not able to install anything from unstable now, but I can help testing the versions currently available in stable and its updates.

Thanks

Jaakov
