First, I try installing a package without its dependencies:

$ wajig install reportbug_5.1.1_all.deb
Selecting previously deselected package reportbug.
(Reading database ... 342599 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking reportbug (from reportbug_5.1.1_all.deb) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of reportbug:
 reportbug depends on python-reportbug (= 5.1.1); however:
  Package python-reportbug is not installed.
dpkg: error processing reportbug (--install):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Processing triggers for man-db ...
Processing triggers for menu ...

Rebuilding /usr/share/applications/bamf.index...
Processing triggers for desktop-file-utils ...
Processing triggers for python-gmenu ...
Rebuilding /usr/share/applications/desktop.en_GB.utf8.cache...
Processing triggers for python-support ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 reportbug

Same problem as before: it should probably just refuse, or at least
warn me that deps are missing and prompt me to continue.

Now I try installing the dep:

$ wajig install python-reportbug_5.1.1_all.deb
Selecting previously deselected package python-reportbug.
(Reading database ... 342622 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking python-reportbug (from python-reportbug_5.1.1_all.deb) ...
Setting up python-reportbug (5.1.1) ...
Processing triggers for python-support ...
Setting up reportbug (5.1.1) ...
Processing triggers for menu ...

That's much better.
