mirror.peer1.net (like many other mirrors, I gather) does not appear to
run a version of ftpsync which properly handles InRelease.[1]  This
results in the mirror being mostly unuseable while the first stage sync
is running for unstable/testing users.

Stephen, would it be possible for you to upgrade to the current
version[2]?  Thanks!
