This problem occurred again. This time I was using an external monitor. First the mouse pointer started to behave abnormally: it was slow to move, on the external monitor it was randomly changing shape, and on the laptop screen it was invisible. When I wanted to quit the X server, the image was showing the root window and was no longer updated. I could ssh the machine and saw that the Xorg process was no longer running (but the screens were still showing the root window of Xorg). I found no other solution than rebooting the machine. -- Vincent Lefèvre <vinc...@vinc17.net> - Web: <http://www.vinc17.net/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <http://www.vinc17.net/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / Arénaire project (LIP, ENS-Lyon) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
