Package: xauth Version: 1:1.0.5-1 Severity: wishlist I did two ssh to the same machine at the same time, with the consequence for one of them:
xauth: error in locking authority file /home/vinc17/.Xauthority It would be better if xauth had an option to wait for the lock to be released (with a timeout) instead of returning an error. This would avoid to have to find a workaround, such as writing a wrapper that does a real blocking lock. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xauth depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-13 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libx11-6 2:1.4.3-1 X11 client-side library ii libxau6 1:1.0.6-1 X11 authorisation library ii libxext6 2:1.2.0-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxmuu1 2:1.1.0-2 X11 miscellaneous micro-utility li xauth recommends no packages. xauth suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
