I think switching to ftpsync is just a matter of man power. You only
cost one time to set up everything, then you'll benefit from it a lot.
Why not switch to it?

After looking at the trace file, it seems that you are syncing from
mirrors.kernel.org? Maybe you would like to try to sync from
mirrors4.ustc.edu.cn, which will become ftp.cn.d.o soon. If the speed
is acceptable then you can set up pushing mirror with it.
