Using mpg321 the audio stream is severely destorted at replay, while mpg123 even reports corrupt MPEG-headers.
That even the headers are illegal must be claimed as more serious than inferior sound quality. The following uses twolame_0.2.12-1 and libsndfile_1.0.21-3. Using the recent upstream release twolame-0.3.13 leads to identical results.
