Package: cfengine2 Version: 2.2.10-2 Severity: minor On a clean Squeeze install, the cfengine2 package still symlinks /var/lib/cfengine2/inputs to /etc/cfengine, but it no longer creates /etc/cfengine. There's no mention of this in NEWS.Debian.gz or changelog.Debian.gz.
The problem came to my attention because I had to modify my new-system deployment procedure to create /etc/cfengine (or remove the symlink at /var/lib/cfengine/inputs) before installing my update.conf. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.1 APT prefers squeeze-updates APT policy: (500, 'squeeze-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages cfengine2 depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.36.1 Debian configuration management sy ii dpkg 1.15.8.10 Debian package management system ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-6 Manage installed documentation in ii libc6 2.11.2-10 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libdb4.7 4.7.25-9 Berkeley v4.7 Database Libraries [ ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8o-4squeeze1 SSL shared libraries cfengine2 recommends no packages. cfengine2 suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
