I have checked the cmdlines given on the bug tracker, but can't reproduce the strut values in any kind. Have you tried to build the latest version from git, if so, can you reproduce these behaviour? After I have fixed my xmonad.hs to the latest darcs build I will recheck if there are any interacting effects between xmonad and trayer-1.1 regards Daniel Ehlers
