I'm pretty sure the problem is caused by conflicts listed in the
sysvinit family of packages (and not e2fsprogs), but in any case, I'm
going to be closing this bug because there was never a guarantee of
being able to upgrade from pre-sarge to post-sarge, only from woody to
sarge, and from sarge into testing/the new stable release.
