Package: udev Version: 168-1 Severity: important *** Please type your report below this line ***
Hi there, I get the following errors each time whenever I try to boot with udev 168-1. It does boot up but the errors and warnings are concerning. udevd [47] unable to write to /dev/udev instead writing to /dev/.udev udevd [112] exec. of program 'net.agent' failed. udevd [157] exec. of program 'net.agent' failed. udevd [177] exec. of program 'cdrom_id --export /dev/hda' failed. Now the above is disconcerting to say the least as this never happened with 167-3. Could you look at it. Please let me know if you need any more info. or want me to try something out. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38.2+ (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_IN, LC_CTYPE=en_IN (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages udev depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.38 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.11.2-13 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libselinux1 2.0.98-1 SELinux runtime shared libraries ii libudev0 168-1 libudev shared library ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-17 userspace USB programming library ii lsb-base 3.2-27 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii util-linux 2.17.2-9.1 Miscellaneous system utilities Versions of packages udev recommends: ii pciutils 1:3.1.7-9 Linux PCI Utilities ii usbutils 1:001-1 Linux USB utilities udev suggests no packages. -- debconf information: udev/new_kernel_needed: false udev/title/upgrade: udev/reboot_needed: udev/sysfs_deprecated_incompatibility: -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com 065C 6D79 A68C E7EA 52B3 8D70 950D 53FB 729A 8B17 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
