Package: python-kde4-dev Version: 4:4.4.5-5 Severity: important Due to changes in recent python-qt4 bindings, the python-kde4-dev package is broken. Any attempt to run pykdeuic4 results in error:
(long backtrace truncated) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/PyQt4/uic/Compiler/qtproxies.py", line 238, in translate return i18n_string(text or "", disambig) TypeError: __init__() takes exactly 2 arguments (3 given) This is caused by pykdeuic4 overriding PyQt4.uic.Compiler.qtproxies.i18n_string using old signature when the signature changed in python-qt4. The bug is already fixed upstream, along with another crash that I didn't hit (yet?).
