Package: x11-xkb-utils Version: 7.6+2 Severity: wishlist
Control can be mapped to Caps Lock and the Menu key, but not to one of the alt keys. This makes ctrl as accessable as when it’s mapped to Caps Lock, but it puts the additional work on the much tougher thumbs, preventing the infamous ‘emacs pinky’. How could I patch this? Is it trivial? -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages x11-xkb-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-11 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libx11-6 2:1.4.3-1 X11 client-side library ii libxaw7 2:1.0.9-2 X11 Athena Widget library ii libxkbfile1 1:1.0.7-1 X11 keyboard file manipulation lib ii libxt6 1:1.1.1-1 X11 toolkit intrinsics library x11-xkb-utils recommends no packages. x11-xkb-utils suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
