Package: gnome-cups-manager Version: 0.25-2.1 Severity: minor Tags: sarge Hi,
when adding the pdf-driver of cups-pdf with gnome-cups-manager it got a printer name and description of "postscript-color-printer-(rev3)". When trying to change these as non-root user with g-c-m (right-click "printer props", click "become root") gksu fails with the following message. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~> gnome-cups-manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~> sh: -c: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `(' sh: -c: line 1: `/usr/bin/env -u XAUTHORITY=/tmp/libgksu1.2-It9p7k/.Xauthority /usr/X11R6/bin/xauth add :0.0 . "`cat /tmp/libgksu1.2-It9p7k/.Xauthority.tmp`" > /dev/null 2>&1; /usr/bin/env -u XAUTHORITY=/tmp/libgksu1.2-It9p7k/.Xauthority gnome-cups-manager -p postscript-color-printer-(rev3)' Same worked well after installing cups-pdf driver with web frontend and named it without parenthesis (g-c-m forced me to use the default values of the ppd filename in the first step). Maybe incorrect protection of printer name in gksu-scripting? Greetings, Guido -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
