ndsend is the ipv6 equivalent to arpsend to update the neighbour discovery table in a router. This is necessary when MAC-addresses change (e.g. a guest being migrated from one OpenVZ hardware node to a different one). ndsend in it's current state is completely unusable without consulting the source of the tool. It *) doesn't have a manpage *) segfaults when being invoked without parameters *) doesn't provide an usage help through the standardized -h or --help options For the record: ndsend 2001:DB8::1 eth0 sends a neighbor advertisment for 2001:DB8::1 on eth0 -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-openvz-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
