It seems I'm the culprit here: apparently, what I sent as "final patch" still contained your old version and I guess that Alessio applied it without double checking (after all, this is what sending a final patch is about: save maintainer's work...). Sorry for the mistake. Alessio, if I may be of any help correcting it, please let me know.
