Hello Maximilian, I found out here: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.terminal-emulators.tmux.user/1436 The problem is related to a buggy version of urxvt which is mentioned in this Debian bug #446444 as fixed in a newer version of ncurses in 5.3.2011.
