For no particular reason the internal structure for holding $TERM
appears to be limited to 20 characters.

This makes logging in with TERM=xrvt-unicode-256color impossible,
resulting in this error: "$TERM too long - sorry."

There appears to be a patch in the upstream tracker at:
http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?30880

Please consider cherry-picking it.
