I'm unable to produce this crash, even when I select the G26 theme. But then, there is more than one thing called the G26 theme.
I'm assuming you use a gnome-2 desktop. So currently you're switched to Industrial, and you have no crash. Can you tell me *exactly* what you do to switch to G26 and then produce the crash?
