i don't think it should actually add www-data by default as not all zoneminder installs require access to /dev/video* (such as an all IP camera setup). also, this would automatically give all webservers access to the www-data group, which might not be desiable. additionally, it wouldn't be safe for zoneminder to assume it can remove www-data's group permissions when removing zoneminder, so it would be tricky to properly purge zoneminder in that case. i'll add some documentation to README.Debian explaining what's needed. live well, vagrant -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
