Today I made the another installation: different hardware, different Linux distribution, different kernel (2.6.27.57). Yes: in this case there's no difference (during reboot), whether Linux has been started "directly", or via Loadlin. Pay attention anyway, that even in that lately mentioned case still it did reset the machine quite normally, when Linux hasn't been started by Loadlin. So can it be tied to BIOS?
