1. GIMP has 2 "Page setup" dialogs. One is "File -> Page Setup",
second is "File -> Print -> Page Setup". Some functions are available
only from first dialog, some only from second, some (as page orientation)
is available in first window and inactive in second window. This is great
confusion.
This disarray should be decluttered. I guess that is not easy task because
first dialog is GIMP's native, but second is come from operating system's
internals and can not be easy changed.
2. Russian translation adds more confusion to this situation.
"File -> Page Setup" menu item is "Файл -> Просмотр печати"
in this translation. It can be translated back to English as
"File -> Print preview". This should be changed to "Файл -> Формат страницы для
печати"
("File -> Page format for printing") or to something like this.
