Package: docvert Version: 4.0-3 Severity: normal Hi,
docvert depends on the packages apache2, libapache2-mod-php5, and fckeditor, even though docvert is perfectly usable without them from the command line. This is a problem for me, since libapache2-mod-php5 forces me to use apache2-mpm-prefork, while I prefer apache2-mpm-worker. I also only use docvert from the command line. I think you should at least move these dependencies to Recommends, or maybe Suggests. I also think you should recommend php5 instead of libapache2-mod-php5, and httpd as an alternative to apache2. Thanks in advance. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-1-686-bigmem (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=sv_SE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages docvert depends on: ii apache2-mpm-prefork [ap 2.2.17-2 Apache HTTP Server - traditional n ii fckeditor 1:2.6.6-1 rich text format javascript web ed ii libapache2-mod-php5 5.3.6-2 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii libphp-pclzip 2.8.2-2 zip archive manager class for PHP ii librsvg2-bin 2.26.3-1 command-line and graphical viewers ii php5-cli 5.3.6-2 command-line interpreter for the p ii php5-gd 5.3.6-2 GD module for php5 ii php5-tidy 5.3.6-2 tidy module for php5 ii php5-xsl 5.3.6-2 XSL module for php5 ii pwgen 2.06-1+b1 Automatic Password generation ii python 2.6.6-3+squeeze5 interactive high-level object-orie Versions of packages docvert recommends: ii docvert-libreoffice 4.0-3 converts word processor files to H ii jpegoptim 1.2.3-2+b1 utility to optimize jpeg files ii optipng 0.6.4-1 advanced PNG (Portable Network Gra docvert suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
