Hello, I set this bug as a blocker for 3 FTBFS bugs. The reason is that all these FTBFS are fixed in the new Debtags codebase, which however requires libapt-front, which can't compile because of this bug.
Honestly, we could probably get to fix those FTBFS bugs working on the old debtags codebase. But all the uploads are ready already, and I don't think it's fair we spend 2 days fixing and reuploading old code when a fixed apt has been ready for weeks and not uploaded.
