Package: picard
Version: 0.11-2.1+b1
Severity: important

Hi,

I've tried scanning the same file on my PowerPC iBook and on a Windows
XP PC. while the windows version doesn't have any problems with looking
up PUID, the Debian version gives a message:

Couldn't find PUID for file /path/to/file_name.mp3

This renders the package pretty much useless.

I'm more than happy to help with debugging this issue.
It might be worth mentionning that usually when an audio-related app
doesn't work properly on my machine it is due to endianness[0].
