currently ruby-gnome2 fails to compile with Poppler >= 0.15 (which is not in Debian, yet), see also the upstream bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3079667&group_id=53614&atid=470969 A different patch has been merged in trunk as r3942, http://ruby-gnome2.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ruby-gnome2?view=revision&revision=3942 and it maintains compatibility with the Poppler currently in Debian (0.12.4). Could you please apply the patch (which applies cleanly, just the rbpoppler-page.c is in a different path) so when we will eventually start a Poppler transition ruby-gnome2 can just be binNMUed?
