Well, I'm not sure what caused it. I logged out, logged in and then it didn't work. I'm running a multiseat with two pairs of keyboard/mice each connected to an X server. The problem affects both seats (different users), and does not go away if I install the latest version of kupfer. Please let me know if there's any more info that could be useful!
