Package: chromium Version: 10.0.648.114~r75702-1 Severity: important Hello,
I found a very annoy problem after installing chromium-browser. That is, once this package is installed, the Default Browser of Preferred Applications in Gnome no longer works. No matter which browser I set to default, chromium takes the role all the time. For example, click an url in the dialog of About Gnome will always launch chromium. xdg-open command also launches chromium even gnome-www-browser and x-www-browser are set to other browsers. Though chromium is very good browser, such a rude behavior is really unpleasant. Furthermore, a manually modification of mimeinfo.cache under /usr/share/applications/ seems to be able solve the problem temporarily.
