Package: mpg123
Version: 0.59r-20
Severity: normal

In describing the -s option of mpg123, the man page says:
"The output format is raw (headerless) linear PCM audio
data, 16 bit, stereo, host byte order."

However, if the MP3 file is mono, then mono data is output.
No conversion is made from mono to stereo to ensure that the
output is always stereo as the manpage suggests. Would it
be best to ammend the manpage?
