Hello Maximilian, http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.terminal-emulators.tmux.user/1316 Following this discussion today a simple configuration of escape-time should be sufficient. Do you agree? If yes, I would close this bug or retitle it to set a lower default value as a wish.
