Actually it was just by chance that the problem didn't arise so frequently downgrading libdevmapper.
I still experience the problem with older and newer libdevmapper. The problems look more related to the kernel 2.6.37-(1|2) I still have to experience the problem with older 2.6.32-5 Could somebody close this and reassign?
