Package: libgphoto2-2 Version: 2.4.10.1-5 Severity: normal Ok, I'm reporting against libgphoto2-2 because it was the most recently updated one but it might not be the real one.
My photo setup is: * a Canon EOS 350D camera * my laptop using Xfce and gthumb The switch to the gio/gvfs-enabled gthumb was a bit painful but in the end it did work fine: gthumb need the camera to be “gvfs-mounted” before but I managed to do that just fine. Now it doesn't work anymore, and the problem seems to be that the device is not mountable at all: For example, right now, the camera is plugged in and udevadm info --exportdb reports: P: /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb2/2-1 N: bus/usb/002/006 E: UDEV_LOG=3 E: DEVPATH=/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb2/2-1 E: MAJOR=189 E: MINOR=133 E: DEVNAME=/dev/bus/usb/002/006 E: DEVTYPE=usb_device E: DRIVER=usb E: DEVICE=/proc/bus/usb/002/006 E: PRODUCT=4a9/30ef/2 E: TYPE=0/0/0 E: BUSNUM=002 E: DEVNUM=006 E: SUBSYSTEM=usb E: ID_VENDOR_FROM_DATABASE=Canon, Inc.
