Package: scrot Version: 0.8-13 Severity: normal Years ago scrot had a trouble with the '--select' option via keybinding, then was gone. Now is come back, via command line works fine but not anymore with fluxbox keys (I don't know with other WM). When i press the keys (Shift Print), in ~/.xsession-errors i can see "giblib error: couldn't grab keyboard:Resource temporarily unavailable"
Here I have found a dirty workaround, see the last post and the first in the second page http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=35244 so now it works with: "xmessage 'screenshot' -center -timeout 1 && scrot -s -b shot_%d-%m-%y_%H.%M.%S.png" I'm not sure if that is strictly related to scrot, but it seems it needs to wake up before taking the shot. ciao skizzhg -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages scrot depends on: ii giblib1 1.2.4-5 wrapper library for imlib2, and ot ii libc6 2.11.2-11 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libfreetype6 2.4.2-2.1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libimlib2 1.4.2-8+b2 powerful image loading and renderi ii libx11-6 2:1.4.1-4 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.2.0-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime scrot recommends no packages. scrot suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
