I was going to ask dwmw2 to replace the current upstream firmware with the OLPC version, but it's not clear which version should replace which. Here's the versioning: OLPC's usb8388.bin (currently what's in Debian): 5.110.22p23 linux-firmware's usb8388_v5.bin: 5.43.7p0 linux-firmware's usb8388_v9.bin: 9.34.3p23 It's not clear the order of what was released when. I'm aware of the OLPC's libertas release including pin hookups for putting the chip to sleep via EC command. I'm thinking the solution here might be to just have upstream ship usb8388_vOLPC.bin or something. Of course, we have minimal changelogs for this stuff, and no source. Sigh, non-free crap. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
