you are completely right. It is my fault. The regression is caused by my FAI installation script that overwrites /etc/init.d/open-iscsi with a slightly customized version. The template for this file dates back to the time when the bug was still present in the testing distribution. So, please close my bug report! Sorry for wasting your time.
