Package: iptables Version: 1.4.8-3 Severity: normal The following rule:
iptables -m time --timestart 06:00 --timestop 21:00 --localtz matches from 06:00 to 21:00 *UTC*, while the local timezone is: $ date -R Fri, 25 Feb 2011 23:14:48 +0200 Not sure if it matters, but the hardware clock is using UTC (i.e. /etc/default/rcS contains "UTC=yes"). Same behaviour is observed on a Lenny system with iptables 1.4.2-6. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=bg_BG.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=bg_BG.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages iptables depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-10 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libnfnetlink0 1.0.0-1 Netfilter netlink library iptables recommends no packages. iptables suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
