UFRaw 0.18 was released upstream earlier this week[1]. I've become
interested in this issue because gimp-ufraw is nearly useless for my
Canon PowerShot S95, for which support is added in the 0.18 release (via
dcraw.c revision 1.440 [2]).

Is there still potential for progress on this bug to upgrade to the
latest upstream version, or should I open a new bug to update to version
0.18, or a new bug to specifically address the S95 incompatibility with
the version in Debian (with the tag fixed-upstream)?

If this bug is sufficient to address my issue as well, I request that it
be upgraded to severity: important, because it produces badly flawed
output for some users in its current state.

Thanks,
