Package: amule Version: 2.2.6+debian0-8 Severity: normal I have my amule set as a startup program -- added through the Gnome's Startup Programs functionality. After I log in amule is started, but its tray icon lands in the upper left corner of the desktop (right under the menu's Debian swirl) instead of the tray. When I start amule manually it places itself on the tray as desired. Of course I set this behaviour in amule's preferences so I'd expect it to work no matter how it's started. I don't think this is connected with Gnome since other startup programs are started in the tray as expected. Nonetheless I haven't tested it with KDE or any other WM.
One more thing: I had this problem earlier under Squeeze as well but I kept ignoring it. I thought it's high time I reported it. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=pl_PL.utf8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages amule depends on: ii amule-common 2.2.6+debian0-8 common files for the rest of aMule ii libc6 2.11.2-11 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcrypto++8 5.6.0-6 General purpose cryptographic libr ii libgcc1 1:4.4.5-12 GCC support library ii libgeoip1 1.4.7~beta10+dfsg-4 A non-DNS IP-to-country resolver l ii libstdc++6 4.4.5-12 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libupnp3 1:1.6.6-5 Portable SDK for UPnP Devices, ver ii libwxbase2.8-0 2.8.10.1-3+b1 wxBase library (runtime) - non-GUI ii libwxgtk2.8-0 2.8.10.1-3+b1 wxWidgets Cross-platform C++ GUI t ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime Versions of packages amule recommends: ii amule-utils 2.2.6+debian0-8 utilities for aMule (command-line ii unzip 6.0-4 De-archiver for .zip files Versions of packages amule suggests: pn amule-utils-gui <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
