Package: lighttpd Version: 1.4.28-2 Severity: serious lighttpd split out the spawn-fcgi binary and manual page to spawn-fcgi but does not handle removal of the alternatives. As a result anyone upgrading from lenny to squeeze who has recommends turned off will have dangling alternatives. With recommends on spawn-fcgi gets pulled in and the dangling alternative is fixed by spawn-fcgi. Lots of folks running servers will have installing recommends turned off so I marked this serious. Whatever the severity I personally think this should be fixed in squeeze, please co-ordinate a fix with the release team.
