Package: zsh Version: 4.3.11-3 Severity: normal
Hi, For years I've head the following alias in $HOME/.alias, which is sourced in $HOME/zshrc: alias ubox='ssh seb@ubox' Please note that the following remains true if the alias means anything else, for instance: alias ubox='ls' If I type "ubo" and then Tab, the terminal freezes. Nothing happens. The shell won't respond to ^C, ^D, ^Z, ~., even an order to close the window from a mouse. 'top' shows that the zsh process is at 100% CPU. It's not killed by 'kill'. It is killed by 'kill -9'. I just upgraded from Debian Lenny to Debian Squeeze. The bug did not exist in Lenny. There seems to be something specific about the string "ubo". If for instance I define alias ibis='ls' then typing "ibi" and hitting Tab works fine.
