I have done some work on a miniupnpd package (in 2009, merging with new upstream releases occasionally since then).
It’s functional, but it needs • verifying (against upstream source files) and updating debian/copyright • verifying it works on Debian and not just on Ubuntu • a sysvinit script in addition to the Upstart job, I guess • a Debian maintainer • fixes for the lintian errors: ∘ I: miniupnpd: hyphen-used-as-minus-sign usr/share/man/man1/miniupnpd.1.gz:6 ∘ W: miniupnpd: binary-without-manpage usr/sbin/miniupnpdctl If someone would like to help with that, the packaging is in git-dpm format at https://github.com/ion1/miniupnpd-ubuntu The nf_nat.h issue is worked around by including a tiny header consisting of just the definitions required by MiniUPnPd (see debian/tiny_nf_nat.h).
